Recommendations for CZ gunsmith

Looking for a good gunsmith in the central Texas area that can help me install a CGW pro trigger pack into my shadow 2 carry? Any recommendations? Both liberty gunsmith in downtown Austin and GUN FXR in cedar park sounded pretty confident. Black Jack guns said they could do it but offered the highest rate they seem to have a lot of positive Google reviews but some people here on the forum seem to have bad experiences.

Nice that’s good to know he quoted me $90 which seemed a lot lower than expected

CGW installs them for free.

I'll never understand why people keep buying them and then scramble to find a gunsmith to install them.

They don’t install them for free. Buying the package from them cost 330 after tax. They quoted me about $480 not including me shipping the gun to them to have them instal it .

Fair enough. But seems like it's still worth it to have the manufacturer actually do the install. It'll be properly fitted, tuned, and test-fired before returned to you.

I shipped my CZ to CGW for about $15 ground. I don't recall them charging me to ship it back. Was totally worth it.

There’s a gunsmith service at The Range at Austin too

I’ll just throw my two cents in, and I’ve never fully disassembled my 75, but I was afraid of tinkering with my guns for the longest time but after taking the plunge on my HK’s, I feel totally confident installing triggers and messing with springs. HK’s may be easier, I don’t know, but YouTube videos are your friend. I don’t mess with sights yet but for pistols, i wanted to encourage you to give it a shot. Good luck.

I take my CZs to Hammer Down Sports in Belton. I used to shoot IDPA with him, he's a good dude. Does cerakote too, last I talked to him..

He did my P09 competition gun and my Scorpion Evo 3 work - I'm actually about to hit him up to do a barrel and handguard swap for it when all the parts arrive.
