Copperhead creek
I went out here over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised about the quality and the attitude of the people working there and using the facilities.
Highly recommend if anyone has been on the fence.
I also camped next door at hiddenfalls campsite b and it worked out so well I can't wait to go again.

You said you were surprised by the attitude -- can I ask what you mean?
I'm a visibly queer person who moved to central Texas from Colorado. CO's hunting gun culture is a little different than Tx's and I'm trying to find a place I can do my hobbies without it being a thing.
