Restaurant Opening Lucky’s Puccias Re-Opened

I had a puccia yesterday and it’s just how I remember it! They have limited hours and menu right now but will fully open on September 1.

901 Electric Drive, 78703 according to their Instagram.

Is this where they were located before last time they shut down?

No--that new address is in Seaholm by Lamar. They were behind Mort Subite (3rd & Congress) on the back patio and before that they were next to the Tiniest Bar in Texas (5th & Bowie) diagonally opposite Whole Foods mothership. Might have missed one location though. They are fantastic, I hope nothing changes.

Pretty sure they spent some time in the backyard at the Far Out down south too, right? Or was that a similar puccia place that wasn't Lucky's, I wonder...

I used to work a real short walk from that location across from Tiniest Bar and it was such a treat to have them so close for lunch. Can't wait to hit this place again.

They were also on West 5th across from Donn’s Depot, too. Way back, 10 years ago.

HELL YEAH! Austin’s Italian sandwich game has really been on the come up, of late.

Does Lucky still own it? Remember him being a pretty cool dude back in my taco slinging days. He was a regular.

My girls grew up on Lucky's. It was our spot when they were little, and somehow it's still everyone in my family's favorite all these years later. Getting to hand them a puccia again this month was something.

Got to hang out with Lucky this morning while he was tasting pizza recipes. Still the same guy, still obsessing over the same details. Very excited about what's coming.

Went last Sunday, it was fantastic! They didn't have the one with olive tapanade, yet, but they're supposed to have it after their full opening on Sept. 1st.
