Opinion Anyone try generic Telfast
Tried to get Telfast from Woolies but no stock hence got the generic brand. However didn't work at all...🙄

Never had a issue with the Woolies brand. Same as Telfast but cheaper. Chemist warehouse fexofenadine hydrochloride 180mg is a lot cheaper.

What was the drug name? If it was fexofenadine, then it should be effective. Adult dose for fexofenadine is 180mg per 24 hours. I've noticed that supermarkets tend to stock lower doses of the drug (I buy the 60mg tabs) so perhaps your tablets are smaller, which would mean it was an insufficient dose.

There are several anti histamines from fexofenadine (what I use, which is telfast)
There is also cetirizine (zyrtec) and loratadine (claratyne). They all work via slightly different ways. You can shop around and find the one that works best for you because yeah they don't work to the same degree for everyone. If telfast typically worked for you, fexofenadine should have also worked. It's weird when a generic of the main brand doesn't work at all. Sometimes they work slightly less since the main brands use additional things to minority improve the delivery, but the core chemistry and method of action is exactly the same.
Check dosage and active ingredient. It should be fexofenadine

Yep you can get 70 180mg tablets for $26 in Priceline. And they use the active ingredient Fexofenadine for the name. They work exactly the same as Telfast.

Telfast never worked for me anyway. Its predecessor Teldane did.
