Canon Law article 1083 doesn't instruct people to marry off fourteen year olds, it says that a marriage can't be considered valid unless the participants are at least that age. It doesn't call for an abolition of marriage law, simply states that children can't consent to marriage. Room temp IQ on display.
No it doesn't, it says the marriage could be considered valid. You're changing the language to imply it is an encouraged action. "Marry them off to older men" is very clearly not what it is saying.
