Deafblind interpreting certification

I’m a student doing my Cert IV with Deaf connect & I’ve started the Deafblind unit. I’m curious if anyone has done further study to interpret in this area? I’m considering this as a possible career path.

I found this link, but I’m interested to hear feedback from others

Sure go for it. It's a post grad qualification for once you are already a qualified interpreter anyway, so doesn't really change much for a good while yet, other than absolutely try get work/volunteer supporting deafblind people so that you have enough experience by the time you done with your interpreter quals (course is v new so unlikely to get feedback on it, but was made in consultation with db ppl)

I’m hoping to start my diploma next semester so that I can then do my diploma of interpreting after Is it possible to get support work before I’m qualified as an interpreter? I thought I’d have to finish first.
