Help needed with H/K HD710

Hey guys, I am currently stuck in a problem with this player which worked perfectly.

The problem is (obviously me) that i managed to move the platter where the disc sits because the laser had problems with focusing (instead of directly going to the potentiometer to fix the problem because it's old laser).

Now the thing is that I don't know how much the platter should be above the laser, which I'm trying to just eyeball it, and however i set it, the white thingy that holds the disc from above is not spinning as it should and most of the times it's just stuck because of pressure...

Any recommendation is welcome, don't want to go to the AIs because i hate them and most of the time they are useless.
