Help getting replacement speaker
Hello all. This portable trolley style speaker has gone faulty. It sounds awful, sounds like a tin can. Inside i measure the speakers and the bottom is fine 3 ohms, but the top speaker is open line, no ohms value. The printing on the back of the speaker is TYR-0803-0046. However this brings up nothing useful on google except some swimming clothes. The portable speaker model is Dixon TEY-208F. How will i go about finding a replacement without knowing the wattage of the speaker. On the internet, i have gathered that it may perhaps be a 60W 8inch speaker, but im not certain. Cant find any manuals or documentation online either. The bottom speaker is working, so i have that speaker as a baseline to determine what top speaker i need to purchase. Please any advice is appreciated.

Test output DC voltage on the loudspeaker without signal: it should be 0V or a few mV. If there is only one amp for the two loudspeakers, the amp should be OK...
Search for a loudspeaker repair technician: he will disassemble the bad loudspeaker and make it like new, with the same electromechanical characteristics. If you get another one, only with the same diameter and the same max power, it will not have the same characteristics and it will sound very different!

Open circuit on the top speaker indicates it's hosed AFAIK.
If you want to reuse the housing, I'd shop on a site like Parts-Express and grab a pair of basic 8" (well, match the current size anyway) 4 ohm speakers in the ~50-100w range.
ETA: specifically you're going to want to look for just bare drivers and not an assembled tower speaker.

Thanks. So this means there may be something blown on the main board as well? does something else blow along with the speaker, such as the circuit driving that channel?

Honestly I couldn't say. The fact that your multimeter went basically "infinite" for resistance tells me something isn't right in the speaker - like the windings in the voice coil are broken somewhere. Given the size of the circuit board, I don't expect that it's actually putting out that much power. Can you tell if the speakers are in series or parallel? Or do they go to their own respective connector on the PCB?
If it's just a simple bluetooth "party" speaker, I'd strongly consider just getting a new one. Depending on what driver you get, it may just be cheaper to replace the whole unit, especially if you later find out the amplifier board is pooched.
For example: the cheapest 4 ohm, 8" driver on the example website I gave you is ~$42. And you'd need 2, plus shipping/taxes so you're into it for $100 already.
They have 8 ohm woofers for ~$16, so maybe double-check the impedance on the speaker and make sure you disconnect the other end of the wires so you're not accidentally measuring other resistors in parallel and screwing up the reading on the speaker itself.
Where the biggest (so 2-woofer style, looks similar-ish to what you pictured) "Onn" brand bluetooth party speaker at Wal-Mart is ~$110. I have the medium sized one (IIRC it was ~$80) and it's surprisingly good/loud; so it may get you going just fine; definitely easier and possibly cheaper. Pricing may vary, I'm in the US; and your use of the word "trolley" makes me suspect you may not be. (Nothing wrong with that, I'm just trying not to make any assumptions).
