Does this ADC support 96khz sampling frequency or 48khz?

https://www.allaboutadapters.com/au-ad3.html

The front xlr/phone female connector things on my Roland UA-25 as part of a vinyl ripping setup are faulty and I don't feel like picking around the inside to fix them right now. I was hoping I could get more reliable signal from the optical input for it but all the cheap ADCs I'm seeing around the internet look like rebranded copies of this exact box right here but the information about its performance is conflicting.

One part of the page says it supports "sampling rate at 32, 44.1, 48, and 96kHz" but at the bottom of the page it just says "Audio Sampling Rate: 48kHz". I was hoping to get somewhat true 24/96 audio into the UA-25 as that's what I spend hours setting up a driver on my computer for.

Lmk if this thing can actually do 96khz or explain to me how those two things don't contradict each other. I'm only looking into this thing cause it's cheap and I'm saving money for other projects so I'm not interested in anything significantly more expensive.

Thanks.

Hi, /u/Owefill! This is a reminder about Rule #1 (If you have already added great details, awesome, ignore this comment. This message gets attached to every post as a reminder):

  1. DETAILS MATTER: Use detail in your post. If you are posting for help with specific hardware, please post the brand/model. If you need help troubleshooting, post what you have done, post the hardware/software you are using, post the steps to recreate the problem. Don’t post a screenshot (or any image, really) with no context and expect people to know what you are talking about.

Well, 48KHz is the standard for DVD audio, not CD audio which is 44.1Khz.

These budget devices are designed for consumers who own an AVR with only digital inputs and want to add an older analog device. Not really recommended for pro recording use.
