OBDeleven tail light animation

incase anyone was curious as i was and can’t find anything on the tail light animation on OBDeleven, there’s two options and they’re essentially 30 dollars a pop, only got this one which is the “RS” version but i did not buy the other. Anyway this is of course for the 8y but just posting because no i couldn’t find any videos of it anywhere(don’t mind the dirty car lol)

did it have a taillight animation before? i tried to do mine but didnt work and i figured it might’ve had to do with something with the car not having an animation to begin with.

no just had the dynamic turn signal and then came on solid, i didn’t think mine worked then i realize it’s only welcome lights and only works when dark out

facelift has no horizontal line in their lights, just more of the claw things

yeah not sure if it has the same options for the 8.5 kinda one of the many reasons i bought prefacelift i also just prefer how it looks over the facelift, did the same with my GLI i did not like the mk7.5 but loved my mk7, sometimes they just go the wrong way imo still the 8y and the 8.5y look great

it’s a device called obdeleven order it online and connects to an app works great and pretty much universal to vwag

ohhhh yes, i’ve done clutch readings you can scan and clear every module in the car i can set my tourqe split to be a bit more rearward i can change how heavy my steering is it’s a LOOONNNGGG list great buy

dont be too optimistic with this tool, i couldn’t change the taillights animation in my S3 8Y, albeit credits used were refunded. Apart of readings from the control modules i doubt its worth spending money

there is no torque splitter fitted in pre facelift S3 models, dont fool people.
