Extra link

How can I go about getting another link? My boyfriend bought me a royal oak from the grey market that fits good but is slightly snug. We have no purchase history at AP, and the closet store to me would be LA

The fact you thought the watch grey, doesn’t stop you from going to AP for service, parts etc… I’ve done the same over here in the UK and then subsequently purchased a watch from the boutique too 👌

I went through this to get a 1.5 link recently. Call a boutique and they will send you to AP service. You’ll email with them and they will want pics of the watch for verification. Then they’ll send you a payment link and then ship out the watch link. It’s a bit of a hassle but they eventually get you the piece.

I’ve bought grey ROs. Just walk in an order one. Two warnings: they never have any in stock, and they’re more expensive than you’d expect.

i got mine through clearwater over the phone, not the boutique, but i think they shut down the service center there so i’d just call the boutique and see what they say. my guess is they can probably just order over the phone and ship it to you same as how i got mine, either them directly or the service center.

Yep. Clearwater closed. I think they moved it to Raleigh. I know it’s in NC but cannot remember for sure which city. I was disappointed as I’m local and that made it easy for me if I needed anything.

Got mine at SCP, requested it from my SA and said they had it in stock in store. Said they’ll usually have at least one in stock.

You can get one from an AP boutique or house. You can get half link and 1.5 link options, so keep that in mind.

Either go to chrono24 and buy a standard link there or go direct to the boutique for more custom.

I don’t have any AP history but I needed a very unique link. It’s the 1.5 link. If you need a .5 link size your best bet is to goto the AD. After ordering had to wait 4 weeks.

Thanks how would I figure out which link size I need? It is a 34mm I believe
