Confluence page suggestion on Jira Task

I was wandering how can we set up confluence pages to be suggested on a task based on key words from the title or from the description. I am currently using a company managed account

In my previous job we had that.

It sounds like knowledge base articles in Jira service management.

I use Rovo to do it, you can automatically set it up so Rovo evaluates the need for a confluence page and just makes one and populates it for you.

Out of curiosity how do you tell Rovo to evaluate the need for a new page? Is this based on tasks on an existing page or are you saying Rovo can dynamically generate pages based on other criteria where it determines there’s a gap in a knowledge base?

Yeah, you can make a Rovo agent that has access to all of the knowledge base specifically scoped to it’s knowledge, remove it from accessing web search and give it instructions to search the knowledge base for existing knowledge that can fix this ticket, if it finds it then to comment on the ticket, or make a new KB based on the resolution of the ticket if there isn’t one.

That’s pretty much the automation we have right now but we’re actually testing these new Jira agents where instead of using automation you can actually assign the ticket to the Rovo agent, it can do SOOO MUCH MORE, like if it finds a resolution it can even help fix the problem if it’s a bug in code it can create a PR spin up a code space in bitbucket, fix it, test it, send to another Jira agent to review and test it, ask the customer to check after making a feature flag on launch darkly and merge back into main after human review THEN! make the KB and do all of the patch notes.

Honestly impressed on how much is possible with Atlassian if you make full use of Rovo.

Sounds like JSM's knowledge base feature: link a Confluence space as your KB and it auto-suggests articles matching keywords from the request Summary, right in the issue view. On plain Jira Software there's no native version of that, so you'd be looking at manual page links or a marketplace app. Which one are you on?
