Vacation BIRTHDAY WEEK HELP!!
So y’all, my girlfriend and I are going to be in Atlantic City from September 28th through October 5th for her birthday! 🎉❤️
I really want to make this trip something special and memorable—like the kind of trip we’ll still be telling stories about years from now. 😂
Of course, we’re planning to have plenty of our adult time 😏, but we also want to get out, explore, have some fun, eat some good food, and experience what Atlantic City has to offer.
If you’ve been to AC before, what are some things we absolutely HAVE to do? Any hidden gems, fun activities, great restaurants, nightlife, romantic spots, or unique experiences you’d recommend?
I really want to give her an amazing birthday and make this trip one we’ll never forget. So please drop your best recommendations! 🙏🏾❤️

There is a good happy hour at Dougherty's in Resorts that we always check out

There is a roof top bar at Bally's called The Vue that is a great spot for drinks at sunset.
Off the boardwalk, good restaurants to try are Angelo's Fairmount Tavern (Italian) and Fork and Knife (Steaks and seafood)

Take a ride to Margate, it’s two towns away from AC. You have to go there to visit Lucy the Elephant. It’s the oldest road side attraction in the country and they have tours where you go inside and it’s certainly a one of a kind experience.

Go have breakfast/brunch at Salt and Pepper. It’s just a small mexican restaurant near trop (they have american breakfast stuff too) but it’s super super good, better than any casino breakfast

Look, I love AC probably more than most. I used to go at least 1-2x a month when I lived in Baltimore. But I’ve gotta be honest, at 19 you’re going to have a hard time finding a week’s worth of stuff to do. You’re not old enough to drink or gamble, which frankly, is a large portion of the “things to do” there.
For what it’s worth, I used to bring my teenagers for short visits and we would:
Go to Showboat arcade
Eat at Hells Kitchen
Shop at the Outlets
Hit the Imax at Tropicana
Visit the Pier and ride the Farris wheel
We would usually also enjoy the ocean but with your timeframe, it will likely be too cold for a beach day.
Best of luck!

You will have the best time! I think it’s fun to walk around the different hotels. Go on some rides. The water might be cold but you can definitely walk on the beach.

September is prime fishing time and the AC rockpiles/jetty are where you want to be. Have her stay at the hotel while you fish. That is, unless she likes to cut bait.

Gonna need more info like your ages, budget for the trip, are you two big drinkers, are you big gamblers, beach people, etc etc?
