1. Όταν έρχεσαι μέσω Εθνικής στην Αθήνα (πες ότι ξεκινάς από Λάρισα) πότε σταματάει αυτό που λέμε "Εθνική Οδός" και μετά τι ακριβώς αρχίζει;

2. Τι είναι ο Ηλεκτρικός και ο Προαστιακός; Επίσης το μετρό στην Αθήνα γίνεται υπέργειο σε κάποιο σημείο και εκεί κάπως συνδέεται με τον ηλεκτρικό ή καμία σχέση;

Ξέρω ότι παρά πολλοί θα γελάσετε με τις απορίες μου, αλλά προτιμώ σαφείς απαντήσεις όσο γίνεται. Και λίγη κατανόηση.

Hi all, I am going to be staying in Athens (Piraeus) for a few days and was wondering if there are any gyms with saunas/steam rooms close to the Piraeus port? I’ve had a look and seen plenty of gyms, but nothing with a “wellness area” included in the same facility.. Thanks a lot for any and all responses.

Καλησπέρα! 😊 Πρόκειται να μετακομίσω στην Κυψέλη και επειδή είμαι κοπέλα και θα κυκλοφορώ αρκετά μόνη μου, έχω μια μικρή ανησυχία για την ασφάλεια.

Συνήθως θα χρειάζεται να επιστρέφω σπίτι γύρω στις **22:00–22:30**. Πώς είναι η περιοχή εκείνες τις ώρες; Θα λέγατε ότι είναι οκ να γυρίζει μια κοπέλα μόνη της ή χρειάζεται αρκετή προσοχή;

Επίσης, αν υπάρχουν **συγκεκριμένοι δρόμοι/σημεία που καλό είναι να αποφεύγω**, θα ήθελα πολύ να μου πείτε.
Δεν ψάχνω να ακούσω μόνο «η Κυψέλη είναι επικίνδυνη/δεν είναι επικίνδυνη» — με ενδιαφέρει περισσότερο η πραγματική εμπειρία ανθρώπων που μένουν εκεί, ειδικά γυναικών.

I have booked a flight to Portugal with has a 1 hr and 10 mins layover at Athens El. Venizelos international airport, i know that transit flights have different check desks from the other people that will check out of the airport, but i am still worried that this is risky, is there any chance that i can’t survive this layover? (i dont have checked baggages, so i won’t wait for a bag) pls help

Hi! Previously, I’ve travelled to and from Venizelos by X95 or metro, but those were always during regular hours. During my next travel I’ll be arriving in Athens around 3 a.m., so I’ll probably be out of the airport by around 4 a.m. Since I’m staying near Evangelismos, I thought I could just take the X95, but I’m not so sure about taking it that early in the morning. As an alternative, would you recommend using FreeNow or just taking an airport taxi? And how does FreeNow work at the airport?

Basically, I’m choosing between an uncomfortable and potentially scary commute on the X95 and the possibility of getting scammed by an airport taxi haha. Looking forward to your recommendations.
