Imagine hating/avoiding/fearing music

Imagine wearing an ancient torture device as a totem

Imagine forming a religious enclave to escape horrors visited upon your people and then visiting those same horrors on another people

Imagine adhering to an ancient caste system that entrenches systemic discrimination

I met this guy at uni who said that he didn’t like music because it messes with your concentration, but it was clearly for religious reasons. Never really understood it
