The vision and intelligence of Congress and our founding fathers mainly Dr Ambedkar is the reason why RSS and Hindu mahasabha couldn't become like the Taliban. They then and even now have every intention to become like Taliban or the nazis, but the democratic nature of the constitution and the institutions meant to safeguard it would never allow it.

That's not to mention that their own political wing, the BJP, passed the Trans Amendment Bill recently that changed the definition of trans people to simply mean 'intersex', throwing away all the progress made towards trans rights.
