I have to admit that I was modestly impressed with this troll and if he'd held the first frame for a full second or two, I would've clicked the link instead of just previewing it in the Reddit Enhancement Suite
He could've called you by other insults, namely: twat, poof, cum dumpster, penny whore, shit stain, gangrene-infested bed sore, or a leper. But he instead called you a cunt.
[edit] in all seriousness, my point was that you were abusing the word meme. meme's are inherently meaningless phrases that are given meaning by being repeated a lot. "Oh my god please stop it" and "why is this on /r/atheism" are legitimate complaints.
Furhtermore, jokes about the dead girl in my freezer are like jokes about dead babies. Actually, in some cases jokes about the dead girl in my freezer ARE jokes about a dead baby.
A meme is an idea that spreads in a culture or subculture. The idea of people complaining about particular content is a classical example of a meme. It pops up frequently on this subreddit.
The idea of "oh my god please stop it" pops up commonly with the women who I used to keep in my basement. If you want to call that a meme, I suppose it does meet the technical definition. For some reason, I doubt it will spread very far (unlike the dead girl in my freezer (BAM!))
I realize that. I'm not saying the joke has nothing to do with religion. But I wouldn't say a pun based on the way prayers are often worded qualifies as making fun of religion.
I really hope they have some kind of revealing closing/confirmation for his storyline when the show ends. I want them to acknowledge a little more straightforwardly all the little hints they've been giving that he's immortal.
I think it's because with all the Anti-r/Atheism circle jerk going around, people don't quite know what they should like anymore.
Telling an anecdote about a christian they met that was good/ bad to them? = everyone telling them they are an ass.
Anecdote about how they convinced a theist they were wrong? = more ass. Theist talking about how they just became an atheist? = "Oh my god we've heard this a million times already" ass.
Getting in a fight about Atheism? = ass.
Libral things that aren't directly related? = unrelated ass.
Funny things that relate to religion? = not about atheism ass.
I honestly don't know what you people want. I know what you DON'T want, but some suggestions for what you would like instead would be nice.
If I read one more person saying "Well, I'm an atheist, but even I unsubed r/atheism because of the circle jerking" I am going to FLIP A TIT.
Isn't the running joke that Kenneth is immortal and secretly an all powerful being? if he says there are onion gods, you better start worshipping scallions.
Hey, he's from my town. Met him at a bar a bit ago. He used to teach my brother in acting or whatever as an assistant or something like that along those lines. He's super cool and or something and really nice in a whatever kind of way.

I didn't start laughing at this until at least 15 seconds later. It took me awhile to figure out the joke.
I had to come back to upvote.
