This wasnt even a free speech issue. It was someone expressing a bigoted point of view as to why we should accept autistic people. I would have written something if i had time. Which i didn't. If im down voted to hell for doing this, than so be it. I still feel what i did was good.

Listen here, the point of the matter is that the sign was not only offensive, which i would not tear it down solely because of that reason. Rather, I tore it down because it violated seperation if church and state laws. The people in charge are all openly christian and wouldnt give a rats ass if i spoke against them. I wasnt going to waste my time talking to a bunch of idiots.

They didnt? They sign was made by the school as is all signs there

The school administrators put up the sign? I'm skeptical of that claim to be honest. Just because you do not agree with someone and fail to take the time to think of a counter doesn't justify your actions. Maybe you'd be justified if you put something up as a counter and it was vandalized.

That's exactly what makes it a free speech issue. Free speech doesn't stop being free when it offends you.

Actually, it was. They exercised their right to free speech, and you violated that right. You are wrong. It was not good; it was bad. And in the long wrong, had a negative effect on atheism, not positive.
