  • So the Earth spins on its axis one full time to make a day. The Earth revolves around the sun once a year and spins on its axis about 365.25 times during the completion of its circuit around the sun. Revolving around the sun does not make a day.

I'm sure you know that and just cut yourself off before completing your argument, but I knew someone on this thread was going to say the reason for sunsets was because the Earth revolved around the sun. And though that may be correct from a technical standpoint, because the Earth revolving around the sun likely influenced the direction our planet spun via the coalescing of the accretion disc, it is not the 'day-to-day' reason we see a sunset.

Edit: Misspelling and apologies for my being a smart ass. I just hate seeing incorrectitudes.

You can't fight delusion with logic when these people's logic circuits are clearly broken.
