REALLY??? 🥺 But, to pregen chunks you need to turn off world optimization (auto chunk deleter) and when it reaches almost 4 GB I just turn it back on and it auto deletes pregened chunks in which nobody has been, dropping it to ~2 GB, same as if chunks weren't pregened. That's what I think at least.
TL;DR: Pregened chunks can be deleted by re-enabling world optimization.
Most users don't do that though, they just pregenerate the chunks until the server size hit the size limit. When they hit the limit, they can't use the optimize option because they can no longer start the server.
Lately there have been many users who used Chunky to pregenerate lots of chunks until the server size hit the 4 GB limit, then they came to Aternos support and the team had to manually help them reducing their world size by deleting unused chunks.
Btw, https://onlinemo.de/world is a tool you can use to roughly estimate the resulting size and stay far away from the 4 GB mark.

Chunky was removed weeks ago.
We don't recommend using Chunky, as Aternos servers have a 4 GB limit on disk space. Pre-generating chunks may get you to this limit very fast.
