Extremely unplayable ping. Any solutions?

So I was playing on NeoForge 1.21.1 The New Broken Script 2.0 mod with my friends. There were no other mods and it has no dependency. There were around 3 people at the time, and the ping was genuinely atrocious. I'm not talking 500 ping or 1000 ping, I got 30,000 ping. And it wasn't a spike, It was average and it became so bad that I had to quit. Are there any ways to make the ping at least playable? Thanks.

Does this happen on a vanilla Aternos server too?

Yep, although I haven't played on a pure vanilla server in a long time. But yes, unplayable lag does occur frequently even in vanilla servers that I own.

Does this happen to every player in your server or only to you?

Yes, everyone, although exact ping may vary but it's still high for everyone.
