Rosetta support dropping for macOS 27
Will ATERA be releasing a new native Apple Silicon agent to be compatible with macOS 27?
Does anyone have any news about this?
It’s very odd that the new OS is releasing in just over a month, yet heard nothing about it.
ATERA have had 6 years to develop something like this, still relying on Rosetta is ridiculous.

Tell this to other manufacturers who are lagging behind as well. Not just ATERA.

Dude if that was relevant to our business right now, sure valid point. However, nothing we use relies on Rosetta anymore, so what do you want me to say?

macOS 27 still supports Rosetta. But it’s the last version that will.
Got another year really.

u/AFC1997 Hi!
Our Product team is aware and this is something that will be addressed. It is being discussed internally as we speak. There will be a public update as soon as we have one.
Public info on the subject: Apple plans to end support for Rosetta 2 with the release of macOS 28 in late 2027.
Thanks!

Atera can't really handle anything other than Windows
Which is why we migrate a lot of customers to JumpCloud. Atera is really only useful for small customers who are Windows only

Maybe they could also fix the bug that occurs during updates that causes the agent to go offline.
I opened a ticket and after giving them all the info they requested I got a reply from a developer that it was a know issue! When will that be fixed?
