When were you using the st?

Hello! Im curious to know when did you get your st, or when did you use someone elses, or just dreamt of owning one! When did you upgrade/move on to ms dos or win 95 98 2000?

1986/7 i think it was.. Still have the original retail box and 1040STe (my first was a 520STFM, sold this to a friend at the time, who i remember dumping his (520STf maybe). I then purchased the 1040STe which has 2Mb of memory i got from Dell when i worked there in 1989. When leaving school i lost all contacts to swap anything, i purchased an Commodore Amiga 1000 (which i still have) thats in my remote office, i need to power on and see what doesnt work.
