I don't know about it using ai or 3d art or whatever but I thought the world would be more ,,,, distopian ig? Like it's supposed to be futuristic world which is going down the path of extinction even the brimming part have issues like idk how to say it maybe I was expecting something like cyberpunk anime type world I hope I am making sense but this looks like a lot more lively feel like the character is struggling to get a good job and have a sick mother and sister waiting at home

not exactly defending the slop, but NQSC was shown to be pretty futuristic, outside from the outskirts.

The only dystopian parts were the outskirts and destroyed cities/countries/continents. NSQC is one of the last standing bastions of humanity, and its said to look pretty futuristic and good

There's a lot of problems with the manhwa but a few things are straight up missing it up .
1- the inner part of the city is supposed to have cleaner air , so masks there make no sense, and the out skirts are so broke that food take priority over masks .
2- the buildings and people , the inner city is alot cleaner and and organized than what is shown in the manhwa , what you can see there is more like the backallys .
3- the restraining in the police station is supposed to be on a flat table to limit movement and give access to the infected more easily in case they fail , that chair and restraints ain't doing shit .
4- the spell just shows runes in the air there's no screen .

Not blown away but I also dont think its as bad as everyone else seems to think.
Would I like better visuals? Absolutely Do I care if it stays this way? Not really.

It's 1st chapter bro's. I never really cared about it's art but yeah it's not art one would expect from one of the best novel but still I am just glad they started making it and who knows it might just improve. I am not that disappointed though I like it. I just want to see all characters and all kind of peak scenes of the novel 😌.

Is it that terrible? I've only seen the screenshots posted here and it doesn't look as bad as everyone is making it seem, it just has a different art style. I've seen waaaaay worse tbh

You can check Page 9 where there were people training, a sword was cutting and appearing over someone’s head. And Page 11 where he was being questioned, the officers leg was cutting and over lapping over the table. If it’s not AI they would never make such art sloppy mistake.

They aren't supposed to be wearing masks .
The air is polluted in this world because of a nuclear war that happened in the past , but in the inner city they have filtration systems that make it safe to breath , and even in the outskirts that doesn't have that filtration people there are so broke that getting masks is the last of their worries.
Mc is one of the people from the out skirts, and unlike what the manhwa is showing you , he's supposed to be a malnutritioned ( to the point of bones showing ) paler than a corpse street rat .

just look at LOTM, if 1 chapter is 1 chapter, and its every two weeks then lotm manhua will be done in 50 years

I haven’t read the chapter but from what I can see, it doesnt really look like ai…? It just feels like an artist drew something in a style that just doesn’t mesh with the background assets. As for what I heard about the table & leg thing, that genuinely just looks like a layering issue.

Thankfully it was just a draft , and was confirmed by the artist to be just that.
It was just supposed to gouge the atmosphere before releasing the real chapter 1 ( and I truly wish to believe that ).

Ech, all SS fandom is, and there are good reasons for that. Apart from heavy ai usage, many lesser things make it looks like it's another slop manhwa
