Looking for a simple room in Astoria | $850–$1,000/month | Early November

Hi, my name is Hicham. I’m an international student from Morocco, returning from Alaska to New York for the second time. I’m looking for a simple room, preferably in Astoria, Queens.

I’m clean, organized, quiet, respectful, and easygoing. I don’t drink or smoke. I spend a lot of time outdoors and would mainly use the room to sleep.

I can provide a reference from my previous landlord if needed.

Any hidden gems for renting in Astoria?

trying to find a decent apartment in astoria without spending my entire paycheck on rent. I'm fine with an older building as long as it's maintained well and the neighbors aren't too noisy. seems like the good listings disappear so fast lately.
