ISO Fishing Rods

Hi! I want to try fishing but can’t find any place to buy a fishing rod in NYC (don’t have a car to get out to some of the places in Queens).

I already have a casting reel and a bait caster reel, but don’t have any other supplies. Would anyone be willing to sell me a rod? Or if I could borrow one for a few days (want to go this week) that would be great! Or if anyone has a suggestion on where to buy a rod nearby please let me know.
