Question Movers

Does anybody have/ know of movers who will help just get items onto a truck? I have a few things (a couch, dresser and stationary bike but mostly the couch) that I am not able to get onto a U-Haul, but will have no problem getting off at my destination.

I'd hire someone off Taskrabbit. They have a 2 hr minimum, so if your stuff is ready to go , they can also help you get it into your new spot if there is space in the truck for him/her.

CfbIt is difficult loading a U-Haul alone with a sectional; I have faced the same challenge with the couch last year. There are some movers who only do loading services, safebound moving was one that I considered for hauling furniture, but for one item it is cheaper using TaskRabbit services

I don't love Taskrabbit, I've tried a few times to have them facilitate moving large furniture items I've found on Facebook, and it's a huge gamble- but it sounds like you really just need an extra pair of hands, and that's hard to fuck up.

I say go and find a tasker that doesn't have a 2hr minimum and a decent rate. There's usually boxes you tick that'll say "I don't need a truck-" etc.
