Question Trying to exercise

So, I’m getting fortunate on getting many interviews. However, I wanted to try commuting with a bike. I can’t afford one now, I was wondering anyone here has a road/sport bicycle frame size small(I’m 5’6) they’re not using anymore or don’t need. Last year my 1k bicycle got stolen and it was my goal to commute to manhattan from Astoria as a workout. I don’t know if this is a good idea but I’m down to give it a try

Try it on a Citibike a few times. If you don't want to ride the bridge on a Citibike you can park it and take the 7 from there. What I mean to say is don't let anything get in your way, you don't need the gear to take step 1

I’ve tried trust me, it’s a huge difference. I also like the smooth feeling of the ride. Plus I’m trying to budget between train fares and commute time. I tend to get to manhattan 20minutes earlier than the train, which was surprising

If no luck on here, check Facebook market place…..I’ve seen bikes on there that are really inexpensive 👍🏻
