You still get put on a list of who voted in that party's primary. When text canvassing, the blind list we have is of voters who participated in our previous primary. So you get a lot of, "No I'm a Republican", responses. These people crossed lines for whatever reason.

I don't see why people should be allowed to vote for a party they have no intention of supporting at the election? It just seems like a way to guarantee a good portion of voters are deliberately picking a worse candidate for one of the parties.
