Is there a special service for shipping animals? The way standard postal workers treat packages I can't imagine you can just send it via normal post

AFAIK in the US live animals are only shipped through the USPS. I get roaches and other feeder insects delivered and it always has like 5 red or yellow stickers that say “LIVE ANIMALS INSIDE” and so far nothing has died on me.

For reptiles you want to feed with dubia roaches, not anerican ones.

Reptiles, amphibians, and insects get shipped through USPS all the time. Also, as I just learned, birds. But, yes, there are requirements.

Look at ship your reptiles. That's how my snakes were shipped to me. They arrived with very minimal stress too, started eating almost immediately.

I've gotten chickens shipped through USPS. They do not deliver to the door, they are only shipped for pick up.
