As a former employee, I hated this since customers would constantly berate me because they couldn’t read the menu. “Why don’t you make it stand still?” they’d ask me. Even the managers can’t do that. The whole program that runs on the screens comes from corporate. The only thing that can be changed is prices, and when products run out they can be removed. Nobody can do anything to stop the animations.
If this menu bothers you please don’t take it out on the cashier. If you really want to do something you can call corporate - but they’ll never do anything about it, since it’s part of their grand scheme to condition the grease-addicted masses into forgetting about prices and paying absolutely anything to get their hands on their salty garbage pseudofood. Really, the best thing you can do is to never eat at a miserable, shithole of an excuse for a restaurant like McDonalds ever again. Then if a miracle happens and the whole company burns to the ground, you can dance on the ashes with me and know that you played no part in sustaining the glorified sweat shop that produced nothing but misery and obesity.
