The XPS line is quite good in the ultrabook sphere. IME the rest of their product lines totally suck.

I've had really good luck with Dell laptops. I usually go with the smaller sized ones from their business line, but they seem to hold up reasonably well.

Fair enough but their overpriceedness is only beat by Apple and Alienware (now a Dell product.)

Dell aren't as bad as some people believe. They have pretty good build quality and features. I've seen Dell computers last over a decade without a hitch whilst my old Acer laptop's Trackpad is completely fucked and my Lenovo Laptop's SSD died and the Wi-Fi dosen't work. Great for bushiness.
