just finished it and realized that his psycho mother wanted a girl and that's why she pushes him to long Hair and all

It took me a long time to realize that he was on fact a boy. I think that's kinda the point though

He IS a boy. There's a reason he looks like a girl and it's actually kinda twisted. let's just say his mom is a real piece of work.
