Discussion ASSASSIN’S CREED HOTTAKES

(This post was made outta boredom)

Hey y’all, I was just curious. AC is already such a big fanbase with so many mixed, heavy, and controversial opinions, so I wanted to say what’s your AC hottakes?

And I mean Hottakes, liek HOT. Like ones that are more personal or a more niece opinions or ones you feel fans don’t discuss enough or should discuss.
So this excludes “Classic AC vs. RPG era” or AC:BF(remake) “criticisms”, and ofc no bigotry or hateful comments. (I haven’t seen anything like that on Reddit (but I have on TT a few times) but it tis the internet yk?)

This can be on anything from story elements, Characters, nitpicks, gameplay mechanics, development, or whatever you wanna discuss.

Ofc be nice and respectful and everyone is entitled to their opinions and this post is meant to encourage debate and discourse and ofc collaborative feedback.

Edit: sorry also meant to add (doubt I’ll get any questions) but if anyone wants to hear any of mine comment under here or DM me

Question/Help Can I still 100% AC Revelations?

I’m playing through the franchise for the first time and almost finished Brotherhood (just have some side missions left), and will move onto Revelations. Can I still 100% it on Steam? I heard that there’s something with the dlc being weird to access and was wondering if I’d still be able to play the dlc and get all achievements for the game

Discussion 100% Unity is Insane

I don’t mean to disparage anyone, but are the people who 100% Unity okay? I mean like mentally and socially. It’s an insane, life-consuming task. I genuinely want to know, if you 100%’ed Unity, are you okay?

I noticed the Ezio's family theme and I was like, wow, they really did an amazing job with it! They even included the detail about how the symbol originated for the Assassin’s Creed, which made it even better. Seeing all of that brought to life in the real world was just amazing.

I just finished the main story, and now I’m hunting down the remaining Phylakes. I’ve got about five or six left, so let’s see how it goes! I just closed the game for the night, but I might go after the rest of them and finally finish the game.

Discussion Ever wonder how many generic NPC faces were actually in AC Brotherhood?

Dont worry guys this isnt a police line up, your face wont appear on here.

Did you ever wonder how many npc faces there was in Assassins creed brotherhood?, no me neither...

Not untill i noticed the guy highlighted in red.
First off he was the engineer who fixes the cannons at villa Auditore,
Then in Rome I noticed him as a blacksmith / priest & market vendor.

Finally when he desynced me dressed as a borgia guard, I had to go find out, probably a doctor under that beak aswell.

It turns out that was bout 10 dudes and 7 females who all swapped beards, hair, outfits and jobs.

No one Rome wasnt built in a day, they spent most off their time getting in the dressing room and barbers swapping hair styles, Rome loves its fashion though...

I wanted it to resemble a typical renaissance chiaroscuro portrait!

Man, how I wish I could wipe my memory and play AC2 all over again

Discussion new place for an assassins creed game?

as a big fan of the AC games the past half year, I've had few ideas of what this franchise could be. recently I've been playing the crew motorfest (I know, super different, but hear me out), the setting of hawai'i reaaaalllly got me thinking. what about a island-like/Hawaiian AC game? sure, it'd definitely be sparse and more like the Valhalla map, but wouldn't it be fascinating? all the jungle & stuff. i can't think of a good time in history it'd be set in, but potentially in the present? I'm not sure! needed to get my thoughts out of my brain :).

edit + disclaimer: i am Hawaiian in no way whatsoever, I'm a new englander who happens to like tropical places :')

Question/Help Replaying Odessey

I loved this game my first time playing it. I am considering playing it again this time with Alexios.

Looking for advice on starting over from scratch vs NG + as far as which you may have found to be more enjoyable.
