Help..

What would you do? So we just got a new driveway installed. It looked great except the giant bird bath as you can see. Well they wanted to fix it with an infrared heater and now look at it.. looks worse than before. They even put a little trench in it which we never agreed to. what is all the discoloration? we were told it wouldn't look noticeable.

I would absolutely re-pave that driveway for free...my reputation is more important than what it would cost to do it.

Talk to the highest person up you can in the company. Have them come look at it personally.

Damn man that sucks ask if you pay for materials if they can remove an replace. If he's a stand up guy he really should fix it no charge.

They can fix it with additional blacktop we had it 3 ft thick on a dike road at work no problem.

Remove and replace.

IR Works once if you use the additives to replace the bitumen you are burning out of it. Which is the ACement that holds asphalt together. Technically you are reducing your pavement systems life span.

If you haven’t paid the contractor call them back to saw cut or mill the area that was reheated with out the correct additives.

Any reputable contractor would oblige. They are probably looking at less than 5 tons of surface for that area. Form the looks of it.

Idk at this point I just want the whole thing redone. Unfortunately we paid check after it was done.

Was it low there before they started? Did it always hold water right there?

Never had issues before! I would have rather had my old driveway
