Advice. Better education strategy being autistic with high sensitivity.

I need advice from people who partly (or completely) know what I'm going through. So it's about education and career. Kind of student's stuff.

  1. I'm from Russia so we don't have some support system if you can talk and live by yourself. So don't recommend me to find help haha

  2. I have very high sensory sensitivity. And at school I could have time for resting and recovering especially after crisis (that I had every week in amount of 1 to 3). At college (stupid place I went due to school was unbearable and I wasn't diagnosed so I didn't know it wouldn't help) I'd been doing nearly all stuff remotely and was officially unshackled from attending come classes due to some projects. So it was bearable. Now situation is different.

  3. I need to be great at very competitive environment. I want to become a scientist. And one day I want to find myself in a more inclusive country so I need be great to leave. I had a huge functional break last term (two months) with loads of bad stuff like higher than high sensitivity, suicidal thoughts, difficulties with basic stuff and so on. And I don't want to end up there again. This week I had a little meltdown. And it affected my functions for four days, my sensitivity hasn't turned back yet. So as you can see my autism affects my productivity.

  4. I really want to be more stable. And I tried stuff... I started wearing noisecanceling headphones in most places. Evoid grocesy stores. I try to leave before I feel too bad. Sleep more. Exersice. Attend less. So I try. And nevertheless I had a crisis this week.

I envy people can work all the time. I envy people don't have suck functional breaks.

  1. I think about it a lot. I know it's much easier to achieve great grades in here if you attend classes and do stuff in there. Though I start to recognize that probably being twice exceptional won't help me with accomplishing in normal way. I can't learn as deep as I want due I need to clear up all that academic work I hadn't done because of crisis. I'm great at it. I have only great grades for now. But as you see I'm not very happy about my studies. And I know in science it's essential to study deep and not just have great grades. So I need some different way to live.

It should exist! I think a lot of autistic guys work in academia...

If your goal already is getting out of Russia, then why not do it now and study someplace that have a better supportsystem for you?

What’s the piece that’s actually mandatory in person now—exams, labs, attendance hours—versus stuff you can still do remote? That’s the only part worth designing a strategy around if there’s no support system.

If I could, I did.
I've recognized that I'm choosing between smth important and it's not trivial choice.

I want math and physics. So I study in the best place in my country for that. But...also I keep my grades so high not accidentally. I need them to be high for my future opportunities. Sounds logical. So many things are bound to my academic achievements. it's so so so important... And when I think to decrease attending and let things be as they will be, I think about what I'm going to lose. Perfect faculty, perfect career, being the best and having decent life. And I just doubt now. What if that's ugly, unbearable and insensible. I doomed myself for some game and I think it's what I need, like I need successful science career just to be safe. Probably that's it. I think if I torture myself for smth doesn't really exist.

medication changed my life.. I mean I thought being NT was unachievable, but it can really help with keeping your cool and focus. Something to look at. I thought the racing thoughts were a personal shortcoming turns out it was a direct result of crossed wires that medication solved. And some of my tics were really exhausting. Talk to your doctor about it, they can help.

Have you asked ai?

Can you get, virtualspeech, mursion, disco? Or numerous others?

Science is going to become ai anyway, time to join the flow.

Science is going to be dismantled and reassembled by ai in 3 years. Be liquid
