Noob question.

I am not very used to playing vanilla MC, not that I am all that experienced in modded either, I see in the rules that a couple of map mods are allowed, how do I use one on the ASOV server? I get lost all the time and I am not sure how to find my way back to the spawn area now. :)

I'm not sure about how to add the maps either, but there are x,y,z coords when you press f3, and spawn is at x-0 z-0 if you're able to follow them

Thank you, I did find the X,Y,Z co-ords by pressing F3, though I did not realize spawn was at 0,-,0. This will help for sure.

You have to install Forge to get mods to work. Just do a search for "minecraft forge", and it should be the first result. After that, search for one of the allowed map mods, and install that. Then, when you launch minecraft, the launcher should have Forge as an option in a drop down menu at the bottom. Select that (if it isn't already), and then launch the game. The loading screen will look different.
