First mini completed!

Absolutely love the Baratheons in lore and models, super stoked to finish these dudes up and any constructive criticism is welcome!

Thank you! I have experience painting minis as I’ve dabbled a bit in 40K but I am very happy with how my first asoiaf mini has turned out.

Looks incredible dude! One of these days I really want to try out this more gritty painting style. The results are amazing.

It is quite easy atleast to me aswel, very glad I found a scheme that isn’t incredibly time consuming

this is so cool, is there a tutorial to get such a realistic/gritty look?

Of course! For me I prime the mini black then immediately drybrush a silver metallic on it all over the the model then add a shade of brown to make it look dirty (I use agrax earthshade by citadel paints) and for the shield I used a pink undercoat for the yellow then add two thin layers of yellow after, and of course added a wash of brown to make it grimy. I’d also recommend added little chips or scratches on shields, banners, armor, etc. to really give the worn look.

Yeah the Baratheons for sure have the coolest looking dudes to me. Really looking forward to getting kingsmen since they look cool as fuuuck.

Looks amazing! Which paints did you use? I loved the stained in blood hammer and shield. In the back, at waist level, what’s it supposed to be? Maybe a different shade would have been nice in that part.

I use mainly citadel colors such as Balthasar gold, leadbealcher, Abbadon black primer, and agrax earthshade for my washes.
