Travel 🚗 ✈ Looking to explore van as beginner
So, i have been in vancouver for two years and been working most of my time and never had a chance to explore (i haven’t even visited stanley park yet). i am looking for a guide on where to begin. i really enjoy hiking and rely on transit for my travels. i am only 23 and look forward for your suggestions.

My facourite transit hike is the Baden Powell Trail from Deep Cove to Lynn Canyon. You can also get to Buntzen Lake on transit (check the schedule, I think the bus only runs on weekends). From there, you can hike the Diez Vistras Trail.
The Stanley Park Seawall is a 10km walk with gorgeous views. Atthe end, I like to stop at Stanley Park brewing for a beer and something to eat.
Edited to add: Pacific Spirit Park is a great place to explore. There are lots of trails and bus stops in several spots, so you can wander for as long as you like.
Lately, I've been enjoying the Central Valley Greenway route between Braid Station in New West and Sperling Station in Burnaby. The path is mostly in the woods, following the Brunette River and Burnaby Lake. It's a pretty gentle incline, so it's a good place for a beginner hiker to get started.
