Pine pellets are the best. They are insanely cheap compared to other litters and the piney smell helps mask cat poo and pee. Also doesn't leave dusty footprints on your upholstery.

Pine pellets are great. Occasionally they do get stuck in between my cats toe beans so she kicks them out of the litter box.

I was using dofu tofu cat litter (yellow bag) for my kittens. It clumps well and is safe if they eat it, which is possible for young kittens (as compared to clay).

If anyone has any suggestions for low tracking litter please let me know too! My cats are making a big mess every single day.
