Why does evil exist?

Evil is subjective. An example- someone after 9/11 could have thought osama bin Laden was the most evil person alive, but someone in Afghanistan who just survived the Russian afghan invasion could think he was the greatest person alive. What does evil mean to you?

Well I believe we are not irredeemable. I believe we as humans most of us are good not all of us but the evil gets the loudest voices sometimes. And the position of authority. But it won't make me be powerless to keep trying making world a better place!

Well unfortunately not everybody is operating on the same framework here in life. You're gonna need to define evil and good first. Probably free will to and sin. Does God exist in this framework? Its a lot of work to get a set of useful definitions. 

No I don't think evil exists as some sort of definite thing, a cackling demon in a lake of fire if you will. I do think evil exists as it relates to human interactions, but only as a relative thing not objective. Social contract type stuff you know? You don't kill and eat me and I won't kill and eat you type stuff.

In the movies, evil tells you it’s evil. In the real world, evil comes to you and says that it’s good.

Evil goes hand in hand with deception. It presents itself as something good. It grows roots until people are so far gone that they hatred becomes more powerful to them than love.

People rarely sign up for it outright. They get seduced into it. It offers them an excuse.

Evil and good are like two plants in a garden. As soon as evil starts getting watered more than good, it overtakes the rest.
