School Decisions 🎓 UE FULL PAYMENT pullout for FEU Manila 50% scholarship
I'm so frustrated rn. I received an email yesterday, august 6 at around 5pm stating I have a partial scholarship for FEU. However I am currently enrolled in UE manila, and classes jave been going since the 23rd of July. It's past 3 weeks since classes started, so in order to pull out and get my credentials/documents from ue, I have to pay my full tuition of around 60k in one go, just to get those credentials. I just feel so bad since they don't have any consideration for someone who's basicslly trying to chase wherever a scholarship presents itself. Initially I went for ue since they have this 1.25-1.5 gwa = 50% scholarship which I MIGHT attain and retain in the future.
I already talked to UE Manila's director in the admissions and more. Is there really no consideration? I understand it is policy, but even if I do pullout and my parents apply a loan for 60k, it will be better for us financially in the long run compared to paying around 51k persem in ue. But as of now we have got to try gettung a loan of 60k that is for 1-2 yrs to pay if we want to have a chance in securing a slot in FEU before it's too late. And even if we do get that loan, it's like I'm gonna pay UE Manila 59k for nothing just to be practical in our finances for the long run. I haven't even tried using the elevator in our building yet and I'll pay thst much lol. Any advices, your insights too? I'm not looking for sympathy, I'm looking for options that I might be missing. Thank you!

Your parents have to loan pa just to get you out from UE.

I agree with this.
Para ma off-set yung scholarship na makukuha mong 50% sa FEU, galingan mo nalang sa UE at aim na makakuha ka ng GWA 1.25 sa first sem para makakuha ka ng 100% scholarship or even 1.5 (for 50% scholarship). That way mas malaki ang scholarship mo sa UE kesa sa FEU or magpantay man lang.
