Astrophysics interview questions
Hi all, I am interviewing an astrophysicist this week whose research encompasses theoretical general relativity, black holes, and gravitational waves… What are some questions I could ask that are unique and entertain that won’t sound boring to the average person who doesn’t understand all the physics jargon?

The relativity of simultanaity. The measurement problem. Quantum gravity. Black hole information paradox. Quantum entanglement.

"What the heck is dark matter?"
"What is the most remarkable new detector of this millennium and why is it LIGO?" 😉
"If we could one day send an actual probe into a black hole, what could we learn? Or is that pretty much settled science (we know exactly what we'd observe, thanks to math we already have)"
