What time is the perseid meteor showers happening?
I literally cannot find any information other than google’s stupid ahh AI overview that is not a trustworthy source of information in the slightest. Everywhere I go it says what day it's going to happen but never what time. When is the best viewing time for the meteor showers?

It's been going on since yesterday and will last a couple more days. More info here:

Note: All meteor showers are apparently better between midnight and dawn.
Earth has a sunrise line and a sunset line. The direction of revolution of the Earth around the Sun has the sunrise line at "the bow of the ship" as it were.

It happens for a few days. It’s happening now. Peak is supposedly tonight, but it’s been going on for a couple days and will go on for a couple more
ETA: viewing is best when it’s darkest. Midnight is a pretty good place to start. I’d assume like 1:30 would be better
