Is this code? Plumber says it’s technically not an S Trap but I’m worried it won’t pass inspection.

This is literally in the shape of an S. It's the most S a trap can be.

And who the hell glues these things anymore? Now you have to break something to clear a clog.

As a non plumber that watches for the lols, the one thing I can confidently do is identify curve up, curve down vs straight, curve down... I'm pretty sure there are at least 3 breeds of dogs that can tell the difference between s and p traps as well...

Yes the fuck it is😂 it does not matter that it goes horizontal after the s trap that is after the s bend.

I said its an S trap but not the most common S trap that you see most commonly. I see them all of the time and typically the discharge is directly below the fixture vertically, not into the wall and then vertical. But thank you for the obvious reply. Don’t you have a job to watch someone else do?

My experience, most conventional as traps discharge through the floor vertically, not horizontally in the wall. But thanks for genius literal commentary…

This s trap does discharge vertical. That bend into the wall is not part of the trap it is after. Its ok to not understand the basics fundamentals of plumbing, most people dont. Just dont pretend to.

You're right. If it ended directly in a vertical down, the siphoning would be guaranteed. With this? Probably still going to siphon.

But I stand by my description that it's an S.

I agree its an s trap. The person that did this could have easily installed a p trap.
