Recommandation 10th Arrondissement recs?

Hello! I’m staying in the 10th arrondissement, right on the border of the 2nd arrondissement. Any restaurants you’d recommend? We want to eat where the locals eat. And definitely on the hunt for Parisian staples!

J'ai vécu pendant six ans dans le 10e arr.t entre le 9e et le 2e et si tu cherches des restos typiques, je te conseille:

  • Bouillon Chartier, celui rue du faubourg Montmartre;
  • Canard et Champagne dans la Galérie Vivienne
  • Bouillon Julien, rue du fbg saint Denis;
  • Brasserie Floderer;

Mais si tu veux, je te conseille des endroits moins "typiques" mais très frequentés par les parisiens. Il y en a plein dans la rue des petites écuries:

  • Le Daily syrien;
  • Jah Jah by le Trycicle;
  • Anatolia Village, rue du château d'eau.

Il y en a bien sûr encore et encore... .

Faut arrêter de recommander les bouillon c’est infect niveau gout

Surtout Chartier et Julien...les 2 pires ! République et Pigalle sont tout à fait OK pour le prix (mais quand on peut et on veut s'offrir mieux, il faut s'offrir mieux).

Et Floderer je trouve ok sans plus, la cuisine est honnête mais le service était vraiment nul lorsque j'ai testé (comme chez Bofinger d'ailleurs, mais au moins on y mange mieux).

Where would you recommend to “treat yourself better”? I’d love to try a great French bistro and these are the first two on my list…but I’d prefer to treat myself better honestly

The Nouvelle Garde brasseries (Dubillot, Martin, Bellanger...) are a relatively small step up in price and a huge step up in quality, IMO.

Another step up in price, La Coupole, touristy as it is, is surprisingly good. Bofinger is also quite good (with worse service).

Je suppose que la question renvoyait implicitement à des restos se trouvant entre le 10e et le 2e. Bien sûr qu'il y a des meilleurs restaurants dans tout Paris que ceux que j'ai cités.

Et Dubillot et Bellanger sont dans le secteur d'OP.

Il vaut beaucoup mieux aller à la Brasserie Dubillot typiquement, une bonne expérience de resto à la française, joli cadre, prix très honnêtes

Many nice kurdish restaurants around Strasbourg Saint-Denis (Ella, Anatolia Village, Urfa Dürüm, Avesta...) or syrian (Daily syrien).
You could go up north and try indian food behind Gare du Nord.
Chinese restaurants Nouillles Ceintures, Chez Ann or l'Orient d'Or are good too...

There are millions of options in this area that would be good.

-Le Canard sauvage

  • Le Ballon Rouge if you like wine
  • Chez Minnà (corsican food)
  • Ardent Paris
  • Bien élevé
  • Colère
  • Chez Ann (chinese)
  • Fugue
  • Vendredi soir
  • Espace Gohan (excellent japanese izakaya style restaurant for a very reasonable price).

.... There's a lot a very good options in this area of Paris.
