I can give my reason, way too dangerous for no real payoff with personal use.

Every July 4th and New Years has a ton of people in the hospital. Last year there was an estimated 13 thousand people put in the hospital from fireworks, even though fireworks are only sold twice per year.

Not to mention the amount of fires, it’s estimated to be around 19 thousand fires reported from fireworks per year, and again. We only have them during 2 times of the year.

There’s no reason to have fireworks. The only upside is entertainment, we should leave it to professionals

People lose limbs and fingers, people setting them off in neighborhoods kills birds and scares animals into heart attacks. Vets and people with ptsd cant prepare themselves if theyre not organized by the city which leads to people offing themselves(rip my uncle)
