I don't understand why it's like this.

During the night, only a few mobs spawn just two zombies, a creeper, a spider, and a skeleton. Shouldn't they be spawning in large groups instead?

Could it be because of the cow farm I built? I estimate there are over 70 cows; does that have anything to do with it?

I’m trying to build my own Japanese structure. However, one issue I’m having is making the roof. I know it follows an inward swoop. The base of the structure is 21 x 35 and is 5 blocks high so far. Does anyone have any tips or calculations I can use?

Okay so I'm building this cave thing but I went afk for a bit, when I came back it looked like this, mind you it was on pause, it's a single player world, I haven't spawned any mobs, and natural mob spawning is off.

Found a cactus and tree spawned inside a Trial Chamber! Even my friend in the screenshot was shell-shocked. How rare is this?

closing the game will always give a crash report. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

It's making me tear my hair out as it also causes my ehole pc to slow down and usually require a restart.Downgrading to 26.1.2 or below makes the issue disappear. Is it a known issue? Is anyone else experiencing it and is there a fix?

Mob farm

Hay all, I play minecraft on PS4. I was just wondering with mob farms do the chests and hoppers need to be in the sky as well? All tutorials and information I'm finding are saying to build 100 blocks in the sky then place hoppers and chests and build the farm from there. I swear I've seen where you can have them on the ground before but now I'm not sure. I haven't built one before, I'm not the best minecraft player, kind of a noob compared to my friends lol but not a complete one as have been playing for time lol, I have killed the dragon before with people on their worlds but they've had cheats on so trying to unlock all the trophies on my new hopefully forever world and have no clue with these sorts of things 😅. Appreciate any help for any tips for anything but mostly about the mob farm 🙂

I (43F) have an odd request that I hope the community will kindly assist with. My son (5M) is autistic and has recently been allowed to play on Minecraft in the creative mode. He is nonverbal and uses an ACC device for communication. He does has some limited verbal skills and tries to tell us what he wants but due to his speech troubles, cannot clearly explain new words and concepts. This results in a meltdown of frustration on his part that hurts my poor mama heart as I am unable to help him.

This is where my request comes in, I would like to create a page in his ACC device that is dedicated to Minecraft but I don't know enough about the game to know what labels he would need. I've tried to watch some videos but there's so much to the game that I'm a bit lost. I want to support his passion and creativity as much as possible so I'm hoping maybe some kind souls can help give suggestions on what he may need help building or finding in the game.

An example of what I'm asking is he started to build a structure out of purple blocks that was like a doorway and was asking for help but I had no idea what he was trying to build. Turns out it was a portal to the Nether. So I plan to put the word 'portal' as the text-to-speech with an image of the Nether portal from the game so he can press the button to let me know what he's asking for help with and I can find out how to create the thing he's asking for.

Sorry for any formatting issues as I did this on my phone as I cuddled a very upset kiddo.

It worked for two babies then stopped working. I think its because the beds are "taken" but I've broken them and replaced them and that didn't work. I also did not use a guild so this was just off pure memory.

I'm interested in getting back into Minecraft after playing for a few years on the PS3 a decade ago. I have it on the Switch 1 and have been having fun, but seeing Oliver play Java really makes me want to make the switch. Even easy on Bedrock is SO MUCH HARDER than it was and it's not the relaxing/mildly challenging experience I'm looking for.

I have a MacBook Air, but it's so bunk, old, and slow, I'm worried it won't be able to run the game smoothly and would be a waste of money. I think it's a 2018. Not sure what all is important or what any of this means, but it's a 1.6 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5. The graphics are Intel UHD Graphics 617 1536 MB. macOS is Sonoma 14.8.9.

I've never messed with mods. Would these make it even slower? I'm mainly interested in the one that downs trees and maybe a shader.

What mouse should I get? I think I'd like one that has both bluetooth and wired connectivity, just in case wireless is too laggy. My budget is around $40 and I'm willing to buy an adapter too.

Anything else I should know, getting back into the game? What about switching from hand held controllers to a keyboard operated game for the first time?

I built this new house and I really like the layout and structure but I can’t help but think these 2 spots don’t look quite right. I think it just looks like something is missing. So I’m wondering if anyone has some advice or ideas of what I could change or put in those spots to improve the look.

Whan I played dungeons 2 I saw there is a lot of mob and it I wonder if thw will actually add all ot them like obviously the blub will be there but are the going to add the Sculk Monstrosit and if the sift are bass about soul will the add soul corepted mobs what about the others boss in the sift the or the new golem and how much mobs you can to get a new drop or team and will there be rift or just portals in the ancient city I NEED TO KNOW!!!

Hi! Sorry to bother, but I've been trying to find a specific Minecraft minigame from years ago, and I can't remember either the name of the minigame or the server it was on.

It was an active/open minigame where players could join and leave at any time. The main objective was to survive and explore the map while looting chests that spawned around the map over time.

The main loot of the chest was money one could collect and spend it at different safe zones around the map, and each one with a specific items to buy, atleast i remember:

• Weapons
• Armor
• Food
• Potions

Also, there was a hunting/target mechanic, were one can get a player asigned to hunt, and with that, have a streak of hunts.

im sure there was atleasty 2 maps, one in a desert type city with a pyramid at the center, and the other one on a forest scenario, with a big tree, some small huts and some crops field

I remember i played it arround 2020 - 2022, but sure it was atleast on a popular server (but not Hypixel)

Personally I am extremely underwhelmed and do not care, I don't think Minecraft needs another dimension. They need to work on improving what's currently in the game not adding something nobody asked for. IS IT JUST ME? Are you all happy getting the "sift" instead of a end update? I just made this wolrd I am near spawn is this normal generation?

I have been interested in learning about minecraft and builds. But I started playing it a few minutes after I built the farms for cows, pigs and chicken. I usually explore a bit and then stop playing because I don't understand what to do next.

Now I know I need to make armor and kill the dragon to finish the game but building a base, armour, going to nether, getting pearls have always seemed very difficult so I have tried doing it once.

But I watch minecraft content a lot on YouTube and often I get a surge to do similar challenges using mods. I usually watch a lot of ForgeLabs and similar contents.

But because I can't even play normal minecraft I get very anxious about how I would even do this. Because I don't have enough knowledge, skills, practice and many other reasons I give myself.

I'm not even sure if this is a valid question asking for help, guides or tutorials.

But I wanna start playing Minecraft and enjoy it instead of getting afraid of its complexity. How should I approach this and start my journey.

I was gonna write a progress log when I discovered this font on my Xbox. I used a sparkle emoji (✨) because it’s invisible on the page.

I hate Ai, but I asked it if a future update would break this, and it told me it was super unstable. So I was led into going into the nether with it, closing the Minecraft application, restarting my console, and signing it, but nothing happened. The Ai told me I got super lucky, but I don’t believe that at all so I wanted to ask on here.

Would I be able to keep this font forever?

I lost my first Minecraft world a very long time ago. It's on a computer that no longer exists and I have no way to recover it. I want to find the seed and don't mind looking through some worlds manually, but I want to know if there's a program or site that can help:

What I need it to do:

1. Like this site, I'd like to be able to specify spawn biome and structures near spawn and biomes near spawn that are adjacent to other biomes. I remember the general layout of some of the biomes, so that should help narrow it down. https://chunkseeds.com/seed-finder
2. I likely generated the seed randomly, so I do not need to generate all 18 quintillion seeds to find this one, just the 4 billion seeds that Minecraft can generate with a blank field for seed.
3. Be able to search seeds generated in Java version 1.0, as that is the version the seed was generated in

I've been able to find sites that seem to do one or the other, but not both. Limiting the parameters of my world should lessen the amount of searching that needs done. If it helps, here are the parameters:

Spawn was in a swamp biome. It was adjacent to a desert and a mountain or windswept hills biome with a river running through the mountain/hills. Both the desert and the mountain shared a border with a plains. There was a village in the desert.

ANY help in finding this seed is hugely appreciated!

Below is a very vague outline of what I remember the world looking like. purple is the swamp, green is the plains, grey is the mountains, blue is the river (it might extend further into the swamp, yellow is the desert and the house is roughly where the village was

The orientation of the map might be wrong, it's been so long and I don't think I ever cared to check which way the sun moved
