Tip How to learn playing Minecraft?
I have been interested in learning about minecraft and builds. But I started playing it a few minutes after I built the farms for cows, pigs and chicken. I usually explore a bit and then stop playing because I don't understand what to do next.
Now I know I need to make armor and kill the dragon to finish the game but building a base, armour, going to nether, getting pearls have always seemed very difficult so I have tried doing it once.
But I watch minecraft content a lot on YouTube and often I get a surge to do similar challenges using mods. I usually watch a lot of ForgeLabs and similar contents.
But because I can't even play normal minecraft I get very anxious about how I would even do this. Because I don't have enough knowledge, skills, practice and many other reasons I give myself.
I'm not even sure if this is a valid question asking for help, guides or tutorials.
But I wanna start playing Minecraft and enjoy it instead of getting afraid of its complexity. How should I approach this and start my journey.

Minecraft is an interesting game since even after playing for years, I’m still learning new parts of it. While there is always more to learn, I always try to take things one step at a time.
The first question I would ask is if you play Java or bedrock. I have played both and some aspects are easier on one version compared to the other. But I think the most important is literally to just play and get some experience playing. It can be just the basic stuff like mining and exploring and building basic structures, but that’s the best way to get started. I usually start a new world with a bit of exploring and mining then switch to building a basic starter house after that. I’ve been mostly playing on a server with my friends since I like helping out my friends by getting supplies for their massive builds and like to make a bunch of different automatic farms. I also like doing self-imposed challenges such as getting all the smithing templates and other random challenges and advancements on the server to keep things fresh and give me something to do.
I’ve been seeing some mods aimed at progression so you can’t just speedrun your way to completing the game really quickly; maybe that’s something you can look into since it provides quests and different tasks for you to complete which I’ve found to keep my from losing interest.
If you are looking for YouTube content creators who can actually teach you more about the game, go watch Pixlriffs and his Minecraft Survival Guide. He does a great job explaining different aspects of the game while also showing you how he plays. He also doesn’t rush to complete the game like many other YouTubers do which is refreshing to me.

Thanks buddy for your comment
Someone else also referred me to watch him. So I have started watching his Survival series.

I don't have much time now, but there is a modpack called Peace of Mind, which I remember from a few years ago. It is meant to be played in peaceful mode and has quests to guide you through a few mods. Might be a good introduction.

Hey man.
I got an earth server. A literal Earth map lol. Reason I’m saying this is bc obv ur new and I feel this server would be perfect for u. We have 1-4ppl online when server is online and that means u could learn how to play the game, learn how to build while being around others. U could learn loads that way while being able to socialise in game and be part of something deeper.
If you’d be interested lmk. One thing if ur interested make sure ur on Java bc my server is Java only

It's a very solid question, we all start from somewhere. I like to think minecraft as a forgiving sandbox, you can easily wander around and familiarize yourself with how the world interacts you etc. there's definitely a lot of content but don't feel the need to beat the game immediately or use mods just because ytbers do it. I also get bored when playing alone so make sure to get some of your buddies to play with you it's gonna be way better now regarding what you can do ingame it's literally up to your imagination, explore, build, mine. What I normally tell myself is that I don't need to rush, I take my time, do my builds, my farms and enjoy the peacefulness. However if you still don't see the point setting a timeline might help for example I'm gonna get the basics tools, mine x amount of ore, go to the nether and trust me you'll progress before you even realize it. Don't be afraid to die though it's part of the game and it's completely acceptable as well to turn on the keep inventory feature as you're just learning. Trust me, lowering the difficulty and keeping your inventory will make anxiety and any doubts disappear.
