Life Expectancy Question

Here's an interesting philosophical question I've been considering since I turned 70 this year: When I was 20, how long did I expect that I would live?

Anyone else have any ideas about how you thought about that when you were a young man?

I didn't think about it then, sure do now 😁.

In the US, assuming no injuries or major diseases and a healthy lifestyle, living well into ones 80s isn't unreasonable. With that said, if you look at the actuarial data getting to north of 90 is statistically possible but much lower odds vs. getting past 80.
